Hand Forged Authentic Ninjato
This Ninjato 忍者刀 is handmade using Japanese methods to create the perfect sword.
The blade is meticulously hammered into shape in one solid piece with the full tang extending into the handle.
The steel is hardened with heat treatment and oil quenching. Once the blade is formed, it is hand sharpened and polished to a mirror finish.
The blade is made from 1060 High Carbon Steel that has been forged in the Kiriha Zukuri style. It has a long Hi (blood groove) on each side.
This allows for a lighter blade and audible feedback when swung. It also balances the sword to achieve optimal performance.
The blade has been electroplated for a jet black surface.
