The blade is meticulously hammered into shape in one solid piece with the full tang extending into the handle.
The steel is hardened with heat treatment and oil quenching. Once the blade is formed, it is hand sharpened and polished to a mirror finish.
The blade is High Carbon Steel that has been hammered down and folded on top of itself 10 times for 1024 layers. This evens out the carbon content and creates a beautiful wave pattern on the blade.
